Connection Circles

Take advantage of one of the best ways to make a deeper connection to those around you. Circle topics vary throughout the year.

Contact our office and ask for John Dunsheath to provide more information.

For early 2011, Connection Circle Committee of the Unitarian Universal Congregation of The Quad Cities announces the start of a new Connection Circle entitled "Perspectives on Being a UU." What we want to do is have a series of discussions about what it means to be a religious liberal in today's world. We will discuss our personal reactions to some of our seven principles and what it means to be a part of our community. While the sessions are ideal for those of us somewhat new to the church, they can also be of benefit to those of us who have been around a while and want to explore serious topics with other committed people.

The sessions will begin on Monday, February 21 at 7:00 at the church and will continue each first and third Mondays for eight sessions. Veteran facilitators Lana Long and John Dunsheath will lead the sessions. There will also be a sign up sheet at the church. People who register should leave their number and contact information.
