Keeping Afghan Children Warm

In 2008, five Afghan children are keeping warm, wrapped in heavy wool afghans crocheted by Becky M., a member of our Knitting and More group. |
We sent the blankets off to afghans-for-Afghans (a4A), a non-profit group that works out of the American Friends Service Committee office in San Francisco. a4A then sent them by air to a humanitarian organization in Afghanistan, where they were distributed to children receiving medical treatment.
