"Singspiration" Rev. Mary Moore
Following two evenings of wonderful performances at the Coffee House here, on this morning we'll be carrying out a task of this Interim Period by exploring together in words and song what are some of the favorite hymns of this congregation.
Please send your own personal Top Ten Favorite Hymns to me at UCD or via e-mail through the contact form. We'll compile a list of these to share -- and we also just might be singing several of them on this Sunday!
Forum - 10:00 a.m.
Prairie Star District 2010 Annual Meeting discussion
Forum today (March 7) is an opportunity to learn more about the commitment we have made to host the Prairie Star District Annual Meeting for 2010, to be held here in the Quad Cities on April 23 - 25th. What opportunities will the meeting offer all of us?
(1) A chance to meet and share with UUs from a multi-state midwest regions;
(2) an opportunity to put the best foot forward for our church and for the Quad Cities;
(3) a chance to find out how you, too, can participate - in hosting our guests, offering homestays to those in need, helping with hospitality, etc. ;
(4) an advance peek at an outstanding welcoming ceremony (Friday night) and worship service on Sunday at the Figge - a service to be led by guest minister, Kent Hemmen Saleska, son of Rev. Charlotte Justice Saleska and former youth program leader of our church;
(5) an opportunity to learn more about guest speakers and best practices in multi-generational church services.
And so on. . . We have a great volunteer team who will stand ready share their enthusiasm with you.

Extra Parking: We have permission to use the parking lots next door at the bank and at PerMar on Sunday mornings. There is a paved sidewalk between their lots and ours, and our custodian keeps the path clear during inclement weather.
